Hi whoever may be reading this.
yes that means you!
I'm currently working on some experiments and stuff, teaching myself actionscript 2.0 as I go. so far things are going great. but that's to be expected with years of game design experience. been designing games ever since I was 5 with good old klik&play which taught me stuff like how lives should work, how stuff moves using coordinate based inertia and how to make something that not only works but is actually fun. later I moved on to the games factory (that's like.. klik&play 2) which was like the next step coming even closer to code.
later on I got my first graphical calculator, the TI-83, which supported something called TI-BASIC. which is essentially the same kind of BASIC old computers used only more calculatorry. which I taught myself within the first year (made stuff that did my homework for me, calculating light beams refracting and stuff. the teacher was quite impressed).
after that I learned the basics of C++, assembler and pascal though I wasn't motivated to really learn more than that.
and then there's now. nowadays most of my experiments are ai related. (just managed to make one that turns to the player using its set turnspeed when the player is in range, in it's field of vision and without any obstacle obscuring its vision, obstacles such as walls. made one like that before only this one can detect walls 1 pixel thick.. which is sweet.)
